Our fun and friendly Adult Tap class caters for all levels from beginners to               advance and you will be taught by a Highly Qualified ISTD Teacher.

(Please note this means it is not ONLY a 'Complete Beginners Class')

The class is managed so that ALL levels can dance together at the same time and is taught with the principal of building up a step for every level.

Beginners are recommended to start at the beginning of a term. If you are at an advanced level of tap, you can also use this class as leverage towards taking an exam or show if you wish.

You will get to learn interesting rhythms and steps and then finish the class with a routine.

If you do not have tap shoes for your first class, we recommend that you wear a solid shoe with a slight heel to begin with.

So, whether you want to be Ginger Rogers or Fred Astaire, Come and learn Tap Dancing with us, it is great for fitness levels and helps train the brain!

‘Tap your troubles away’
I have been coming to Chahna’s adult tap classes for 10 years. After a fast-paced cardio warm-up using a variety of tap steps we then learn a new routine. These can be anything from broadway , jazz, pop or film soundtracks. The classes are great fun whether you have been tapping for 40 years like me or a complete beginner!  - Tam B
I’ve been a tap dancer all my life and have attended many classes. Chahna is an excellent teacher with great routines, warm up and fun! - Donna ( aged 74 )
I have been attending Chahna's Tap and Salsa classes for approx. 3 years and thoroughly enjoy them.  It gives me an opportunity to meet, socialise as well as dance with lots of different people.  It is fun and energetic and with Chahna's enthusiasm, her musicality and her ability to adapt her choreography - from the most basic of steps to the more advanced ones - no one should ever feel that they wouldn't be able to do it - as well as being a great way to keep fit!!!!
